  1. Store downloads for Mac and Windows

    Mac and Windows downloads now use the App Store and Microsoft Store. The direct Mac and Windows installers were retired so future updates stay on the signed store channels. Users with a store-restricted device can email hello@doccite.com.

  2. Direct Android 1.1.1 and Apple review

    The direct Android 1.1.1 installer is available, and DocCite 1.1.1 has been submitted to Apple. It improves reliability, local search and evidence handling, App Lock and home-screen privacy, large-document recovery, watch capture delivery, and encrypted Offline Transfer.

  3. DocCite 1.1.0 on App Store and Google Play

    DocCite 1.1.0 is now listed on the App Store and Google Play. The App Store release adds App Lock, encrypted Offline Transfer bundles, Compare Documents, PDF highlights, and answer copy with numbered citations. Direct Mac, Android, and Windows downloads remain version-pinned to the latest public installer assets.

  4. Direct Mac download

    DocCite is now also available as a direct Mac download from the DocCite website, providing an alternative to the App Store for macOS users.

  5. DocCite on Android and Windows

    DocCite is now available on Android through Google Play, on Windows through Microsoft Store, and as a direct Windows download from the DocCite website. The Wear OS companion can send a capture to its paired Android phone.

  6. Apple Watch companion

    Capture a question or short note from Apple Watch, then open DocCite on the paired iPhone to search your documents and review the cited passages. The watch does not open documents, run searches, or display cited answers.

  7. Available on the App Store

    DocCite launched on iPhone, iPad, and Mac through the App Store, with cited document search and source review across the three Apple apps.

  8. doccite.com launches

    First public version of the DocCite website, with an overview of the app, role pages, FAQ, and a privacy page describing local-only document handling.

Dates reflect when each change first went live. Entries are kept brief on purpose, since the website itself stays the source of truth for current features.
