A cited result opens beside the source blocks so the page can be reviewed without losing the result list.

What you can do

Search and verify clinical research documents on Windows.

Search a desktop document library

Search PDFs, DOCX, TXT, RTF, and Markdown files by keyword, phrase, or question. English OCR can make scanned PDFs searchable.

Verify beside the result list

Open a cited result to review the relevant page and searchable source blocks while the result list remains available.

Compare and carry citations forward

Compare two files, add highlights, save bookmarks, and copy an answer with source details for a monitoring report or follow-up note.

Review documents that need attention

Use document properties and the review queue to return to files that need another check.

Add your documents

Bring study files into DocCite.

Files and folders

Choose a file or folder, drag documents into DocCite, or open a supported file with the app.

Windows handoff options

Use Open with, Send To, or the watched DocCite Share Inbox to bring supported files into the library.

Requirements

Review Windows requirements before installing.

  • DocCite supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 on x64 and Arm64 devices.
  • The interface is available in 11 languages. Search works best with English source text.

How Windows receives shared files

The Windows release does not use the native Windows Share target. Use Open with, Send To, drag and drop, or the DocCite Share Inbox instead.
